We're taking our Beer Making Book Tour to Texas, where we'll be splitting our time between hosting demos, chowing down on barbecue, and checking out all that South by Southwest has to offer after our panel. Whether you live in Austin or just happen to be visiting the lone star state for SXSW, we've got a few things planned that will be sure to keep you entertained.
Join us at Williams-Sonoma at Arboretum Market on Saturday, March 10 at 1pm for special brewing demo. We'll be there signing books, fielding questions, and teaching you everything you need to know about brewing on your stovetop. Admission is free, and books will be available for purchase.
If you haven't already bought a pass to South by Southwest, get on it! Interactive, Gold and Platinum badge holders will have access to The Rise of Brooklyn Food Scene, a one-hour panel featuring Brooklyn-based entrepreneurs (including us!) discussing the ins and outs of starting a business. Featured speakers include Christina Tosi of Momofuku Milk Bar, One Girl Cookies co-owner David Crofton, Jessica Applestone of Fleisher's Grass-Fed & Organic Meats, and New York Times food writer Peter Meehan.
